This last month we had TWO local clinics: one on May 11th in the small town of Cebadilla, and one in Paraíso on May 12th.
The small pueblo of Cebadilla is hard to even locate on a map, and there hadn’t been a spay and neuter clinic there ever before. Local residents asked one of our long time organizers, Flavia, if Hope 4 A Street Dog could come and host a clinic there because so many animals were in need of a vet visit or castration. So Flavia and the team set to work making that happen!
The Cebadilla clinic was a success, with 36 animals spayed or neutered that day.

But that wasn’t all for May! The next day Hope 4 A Street Dog and the veterinary team were back at it in Paraíso. We welcomed some new volunteers from Drift Away Eco Lodge who were a huge help on the recovery blanket and with transport, being the “dog taxi” for the day.
Thank you to all of our volunteers and hardworking organizers who put in long hours helping to make these clinics happen- especially on this double clinic weekend! If you’re interested in helping out at one of our upcoming clinics, there are many ways to get involved. We always appreciate fellow animal lovers helping out in any way they can.
51 dogs and cats were spayed or neutered in Paraíso. That makes the total count for the weekend 87!
