On February 17, 2019 the local communities in the Nandamojo Valley came together once again to organize and sponsor a spay and neuter campaign. This time it took place in the town of Paraíso, a small village that joins the beach communities.
It was a hot day and there were the usual unexpected twists and turns, but the veterinary team managed to spay or neuter 68 cats and dogs from the local area! The volunteers were there to care for the animals during their recovery time, and send them on their way with post-surgery medicine, new collars, bags of food and always plenty of love.
A huge THANK YOU as always to our donors, volunteers, veterinary team, and the community of pet owners who brought their animals in.
